ABOUT THE ROLE: Serve as technology and solutions leader for Master Data Management (MDM) solution, responsible for the overall design and implementation of a complex system supporting multiple source data integrations, data governance, data cleansing and advanced data delivery functions Define the overall MDM solution architecture and set technical direction, define component architecture and review detailed designs for accuracy and overall compliance to defined architecture Develop and maintain standards, standard methodologies, patterns and designs for the implementation of MDM solutions. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the implementation team on topics like the development of data models, new integration patterns and complex business rule implementations etc. Drive discussions and provide consultation around innovations in the areas of data and digital transformation, the customer digital journey, functional/application designs and ensure technology and business solutions represent business requirements. Communicate and collaborate with business authorities, enterprise architects, data owners, application owners and other partners in crafting MDM conversations/topics Drive a smooth partnership between business analysts and the MDM platform engineers Participate in release planning, effort estimation, project planning Lead a small team to deliver assigned subprojects in the above-mentioned fields; also comfortable in working on technical, configuration and process related tasks independently Keeping up-to-date on newest technologies, standards and tools in areas meaningful to MDM and present new technical solutions and advising the business on the technical and business value of the proposition. ABOUT THE TEAM: We are a team of analysts and engineers, spread across multiple locations globally, driving the MDM function at Swiss Re. We are responsible for driving all stages of software development lifecycle including business analysis, solution design and platform management for nearly 700 master and reference data sets. We are the main points of contact for our customers, business partners and enterprise architects for all MDM topics. ABOUT YOU: You have a Master / Bachelordegree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or equal You have 10+ years of work experience, with at least 5 years of information/enterprise architectureexperience and 3 years as an MDM Architect, defining and executing MDM projects. You have strong analytical, solution designing and problem-solving skills You have previous experience of crafting and developing end to end MDM solutions. Experience of EBX MDM platform is an added advantage You are proficient in data modeling and have development experience in Java, SQL for Oracle/DB2, Web-Services (REST/SOAP) You have experience of working with globally dispersed teams in an agile software development environment (SCRUM) You have good communication skills in English (spoken and written) MISCELLANEOUS: Other activities / responsibilities might include performing position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor, for example, marketing presentations, conduct trainings, reporting, administrative tasks, providing cover for other roles in the team etc. Some travel to other Swiss Re locations may be required We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
