Job Description:
The hourly rate range for this position is $15-$16.
ResponsibilitiesThe Hourly Field Technician will work within the Bureau of Communicable Disease Control- Vector Surveillance Unit.
This position will work up to 20 hours/week, approximately from September through May and 37.
5 hours, approximately from May through August.
Primary responsibilities include tick and mosquito field collections, laboratory work, data entry, tabulation and analysis of field and laboratory data.
Minimum QualificationsCurrent enrolled in an undergraduate degree in biology or related field.
Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in field work and vector ecology.
Conditions of EmploymentGrant funded, hourly position expected to last through 07/31/2024.
Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Travel, up to 25%, will be required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.
S.
is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
