AP Specialist CFS has partnered with an organization based in Armonk, NY to help find a new AP Specialist to join their growing team! The ideal candidate for this position is an experience and passionate Accounting professional, with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

Over 500 retail locations across over 20 states in the US! One of the largest distributors/retailers in the business Big believers in that their people drive their success In growth mode due to acquisition activity that has taken place in the last year In early stages, but planning to become a publicly-traded organization! Worked under great management, including their Controller (who is a CPA, looking to pass on their knowledge)
Responsibilities:
Processing AP Vouchers Inputting new vendors into the system Going through invoices and sorting them, scanning invoices into the system and attaching to the voucher Processing anywhere from 50-100 invoices on a weekly basis Preparing for check runs, approximately 600-2,000 checks on a weekly basis What the client is looking for:
A Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting or Finance At least 3 years in accounts payable Experience with Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP experience #CBAUG2023#INAUG2023 Recommended Skills Accounts Payable Enterprise Resource Planning Finance Microsoft Dynamics Pivot Table Accounting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
