Senior Accounting Analyst

Senior Accounting Analyst, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted):
Prepare and present expense accounting packages monthly to the vice president of Accounting and Analysis.
Present expense topics to the controller and assistant controller quarterly.
Work closely with accounting teams to deliver accurate monthly expense packages.
Act as lead reviewer of expense MD&A in 10-Q and 10-K filings.
Support the external reporting and investor relations teams on the earnings Q&A process and review all external messaging including press releases, 10-Q and 10-K filings, investor day.
Prepare foreign currency reporting package monthly.
Act as corporate accounting lead for variable pay accounting and related processes.
Act as corporate accounting lead for internal use software.
Support accounting for workforce restructuring actions.
Utilize:
DB2 QMF for Workstation, IBM Planning Analytics with Watson, Agile (Methodology), Blackline - Account Reconciliations.
Required:
Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as an Accounting Team Leader or related.
One (1) year of experience must include utilizing DB2 QMF for Workstation, IBM Planning Analytics with Watson, Agile (Methodology), Blackline - Account Reconciliations.
$145,674.
96 to $218,500.
